Bhubaneswar, March 27 -- Commissionerate Police on Friday arrested a man in connection with a car break-in and theft incident reported from the parking area of Capital Hospital, raising concerns over vehicle safety in busy public spaces.

According to police sources, the accused allegedly smashed the window of a parked car and stole an iPhone 15 along with cash amounting to Rs 25,000. The incident came to light after the victim, Ranjit Biswal, lodged a formal complaint at the Capital Police Station.

Acting swiftly on the complaint, police launched an investigation and tracked the accused to the Bapuji Nagar area, where he was reportedly attempting to sell the stolen mobile phone. The accused, identified as Rakesh Khuntia, was apprehended...
