Bhubaneswar, May 28 -- A major mishap unfolded at Gopinathpur Railway Station near Nilagiri in Odisha's Balasore district on Thursday after a crane collapsed onto two freight trains during unloading operations. Though no casualties were reported, the incident caused significant disruption to railway services in the area.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred at a sleeper manufacturing unit located near the railway station. The crane, which was being used for loading and unloading railway sleepers, suddenly collapsed while work was underway and fell directly onto two stationary goods trains.
