Bhubaneswar, March 12 -- The Government of Odisha carried out a major reshuffle at the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) level on Thursday, transferring and appointing several officers to new positions across departments and districts to strengthen administrative functioning.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, 2012-batch IAS officer Manish Agarwal, who was serving as Additional Special Relief Commissioner with additional charge of Additional Secretary in the Planning and Convergence Department, has been appointed Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Odisha.
