Bhubaneswar, April 2 -- In many homes, mornings pass in quiet routine-shared drinks, brief conversations, and the rush to work. On April 25, 2023, police officer Jayant Ballawar followed that same rhythm in Maharashtra's Chandrapur. Before leaving for duty, he consumed a milkshake prepared by his daughter. Hours later, he collapsed near the District Magistrate's office and died.

At the time, officials recorded the cause as a sudden illness. With no immediate suspicion of foul play, the case was closed.
