Lullabies, classical music help 5 baby orangutans cope with stress at Nandankanan Zoo in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 12 -- Five young orangutans at Nandankanan are being administered with music therapy to help them cope with stress as they remain in quarantine. The animals, which are being kept together, are spending their time listening to lullabies and classical music, while also playing and staying close to one another.
As per reports, the five orangutans were seen swinging on a hammock, rolling around, playing with each other and holding on to one another. They are staying together throughout the day and night and are not being separated.
A classical music session was played inside the quarantine room at Nandankanan as part of efforts to help the animals cope with the stress of being separated from their mother.
