Bhubaneswar, May 10 -- Amid prevailing heat and humid conditions across Odisha, rainfall activity is likely to intensify as the possibility of a low-pressure area has emerged over the Bay of Bengal.

According to weather assessments, a low pressure area may form over the southwest Bay of Bengal on Monday. However, the likely direction of movement of the system and its exact impact are yet to become clear.
