Bhubaneswar, April 1 -- A tragic incident unfolded in Bengaluru where a techie couple allegedly died by suicide within minutes of each other at their apartment in the Kothanur area.

According to police and initial reports, a 32-year-old software engineer was found hanging inside a locked room of his residence. When he did not respond, his partner, along with neighbours and security personnel, forced the door open and discovered him unresponsive.

Shortly after the discovery, the woman, also a software professional, jumped from the 17th floor of the same apartment complex. She died on the spot.
