Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- Long queues of consumers have been witnessed outside several LPG gas agencies in Bhubaneswar as residents struggle to obtain cooking gas despite placing bookings.

Many consumers alleged that they have not received LPG cylinders even after booking them 20 to 25 days ago. The situation has triggered anger among customers as distribution companies have reportedly failed to ensure timely supply. Residents also claimed that home delivery services have been halted in several areas.

People were seen standing in queues for two to three hours or even longer outside LPG distribution centres in the city. The delay in supply has created inconvenience for households that depend on LPG cylinders for daily cooking needs.
