Bhubaneswar, April 16 -- Allegations of financial fraud involving lakhs of rupees have emerged from Odisha's Bhadrak town, where a private finance company is accused of cheating people on the pretext of arranging loans. Several women have accused Annapurna Finance of duping them of money. The company is located in the Apartibindha area, and complainants allege that its employees have absconded after shutting down the office.
