India, Aug. 24 -- Last Monday of Sawan drew large crowds of devotees to Shaivite shrines across Odisha today. Kanwariyas and regular devotees queued up to offer water and seek blessings.

Devotees began arriving at the temples early in the morning. Large gatherings were reported at Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, Lokanath Temple in Puri, Ladubaba Temple in Nayagarh, Kapilash Temple in Dhenkanal and Dhabaleswar shrine in Cuttack. The administration made arrangements for devotees at the major shrines.
