India, Aug. 24 -- Incessant rain over the past three days has disrupted normal life across Odisha's Koraput district, with several low-lying areas inundated and water levels rising in rivers, streams and reservoirs.

The continuous downpour has affected several parts of the district, with reports of waterlogging in low-lying areas. Several houses have also suffered partial damage in Koraput, Laxmipur and Machhkund areas.

Houses Collapse In Dasmantpur The situation has also worsened in Dasmantpur block, where incessant rain has reportedly caused two houses to collapse. The extent of damage and whether anyone was injured in the incidents are yet to be ascertained.
