Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- Traffic movement came to a standstill on the Koraput-Rayagada National Highway-326 after an iron-loaded trailer met with an accident at Guma Ghat under Rayagada district of Odisha on Saturday.

The accident took place around 12:30 AM, following which the trailer remained stranded on the road, blocking vehicular movement. The route has been witnessing a massive traffic jam since overnight, with hundreds of buses, trucks, and other vehicles stranded on both sides of the highway.

Commuters and transport operators are facing severe inconvenience due to the prolonged blockade.
