Bhubaneswar, June 18 -- Konark Balukhand Wildlife Sanctuary is steadily emerging as a promising new habitat for blackbucks, with conservation efforts showing encouraging results. The Forest Department has established special enclosures within the sanctuary as part of a dedicated programme aimed at the restoration and long-term conservation of the species.

The initiative has already begun yielding positive outcomes. The growing population of Blackbucks inside the enclosures has created fresh optimism among wildlife officials and local communities.
