Bhubaneswar, April 4 -- Shashi Tharoor's security personnel and driver were allegedly attacked by a group of five individuals in poll-bound Kerala's Wandoor area, police said on Saturday. One person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

According to a First Information Report (FIR) filed on the complaint of Tharoor's driver Ratheesh KP, the incident took place around 7:30 pm on Friday at Chellithode near Thiruvali in Wandoor, reported Press Trust of India. Police confirmed that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
