Bhubaneswar, June 2 -- A serious case of alleged abduction and group assault has emerged from Mahadeipatana village under Ali police station limits in Kendrapara district, involving a local resident, Gaurang Sethi.

Reports indicate that Gaurang was allegedly assaulted by a group of 7 to 8 youths in a coordinated attack before being abducted. A video of the assault has surfaced online, intensifying concerns over the incident and drawing public attention.
