Bhubaneswar, Sept. 26 -- Odisha Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena on Saturday visited Kalinga Ghati in Ganjam district after two landslides disrupted the route following rain triggered by the deep depression.

Jena reached the Ganjam-Kandhamal border area along with the Ganjam Collector and other administrative officials. The team inspected the damaged stretches and took stock of the situation on the ground.

The administration has sealed Kalinga Ghati for an indefinite period following the landslides. Several stretches of the route have been affected, with the damage visible at different points.
