Bhubaneswar, May 30 -- Life in Bonai town of Sundargarh district remains severely disrupted as residents continue to face a four-day-long power outage following the Kalbaisakhi storm that struck the region on May 25.

The storm, accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain, reportedly uprooted large trees and electricity poles, leading to a complete breakdown of the power supply in several areas of the town. Households, businesses, and government offices have been significantly affected, with normal life coming to a standstill.

Key government establishments, including the Sub-Collector's office, Tehsil office, and Block office, have been forced to function without electricity, hampering administrative work.
