Bhubaneswar, June 7 -- Kalbaisakhi rain is expected to continue across Odisha for the next four days. The rain is likely to bring relief from the prevailing heat. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are also forecasted for several districts.

Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted continued Kalbaisakhi influence across the state, weather conditions will turn unstable during the afternoon and evening hours after hot and humid mornings.

Bhubaneswar Met office issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and lightning in 24 districts on Sunday.

A similar alert has been issued for 23 districts on Sunday, with the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in several parts of the state.
