Bhubaneswar, April 24 -- A shocking case from Hyderabad highlights the dangerous spiral of substance dependency and its consequences. A 37-year-old software engineer, identified as Ch Shashidhar, was arrested for cultivating ganja plants at his residence in East Gandhinagar, Nacharam. 

Authorities revealed that the accused had allegedly lost his job due to substance addiction, which pushed him toward illegal activities to sustain his habit.
