Bhubaneswar, Oct. 22 -- Odisha Vigilance on Thursday launched simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Tapan Sethi, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Sub-Division in Jajpur's Badachana. The searches are being conducted over allegations that he possesses assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The searches are being conducted by a team comprising three Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl SPs), six Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), three inspectors and other supporting staff. The operation is being carried out under search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
