India, Oct. 5 -- Thalaivar Rajinikanth is back as the formidable Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in the trailer of Jailer 2. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the sequel follows the massive 2023 hit Jailer and appears to raise the stakes with a fresh set of threats.

New Faces, Familiar Allies The two-minute trailer opens on a very different side of Tiger. The former jailer is now working as a driver and appears to be living a low-key life. Suraj Venjaramoodu's character, meanwhile, seems determined to track him down.

But Tiger's past refuses to stay buried. The trailer hints that Tiger could be forced to return to action after being pushed too far. SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty appear to be among the new faces standing against him....
