Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- Raising objections over the conduct of off-schedule Snana Yatra and Rath Yatra celebrations by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in several foreign countries, Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb has once again wrote to the President of India Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking their intervention into the matter.

In his communication, the Puri King sought an appointment with the President Murmu to discuss the issue and appealed to Prime Minister Modi to intervene, alleging that the observance of these rituals outside the traditional Hindu calendar violates the age-old traditions associated with Lord Jagannath.
