Bhubaneswar, March 13 -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday (local time) said the situation involving Iran was developing "very rapidly" and praised the strength of the United States military, asserting that American forces were performing exceptionally well. His remarks came during a Women's History Month programme at the White House.

Trump said the U.S. armed forces were unmatched and capable of addressing long-standing issues related to Iran. He claimed that actions currently being taken by his administration should have been carried out decades ago. Criticising Iran's leadership, he described the country as a "nation of terror and hate" and said it was now facing serious consequences.
