Bhubaneswar, March 22 -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday (local time) said that Iranian missiles are now capable of reaching distances of nearly 4,000 km, placing major European cities such as London, Paris and Berlin within range. The statement highlights growing concerns over the expanding reach of Iran's missile programme.

In a post on X, the IDF noted that during Operation Rising Lion in June 2025, it had already identified Iran's intent to develop long-range missiles with such capabilities. It added that the Iranian regime had denied these claims, even as evidence suggested otherwise.
