Bhubaneswar, March 3 -- After months of uncertainty, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have received clearance to host the majority of their home fixtures in Bengaluru for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season. The development brings relief to fans after last year's post-title victory parade led to a temporary ban on matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Five Matches in Bengaluru, Two in Raipur
With the new season approaching, RCB had been without a confirmed home base. The franchise has now announced that five of their seven home games will be played in Bengaluru, while the remaining two will be staged in Raipur, effectively giving the team two home venues this season.
