Bhubaneswar, April 12 -- Coastal Odisha is once again witnessing a sharp rise in temperatures, with heat conditions intensifying across the state. After a brief spell of relief due to Kalbaisakhi rains over the past few days, the mercury has begun to climb steadily, bringing back hot and humid weather.
According to the Meteorological Department, the prevailing conditions indicate a return of intense summer, with heat likely to persist and worsen in the coming days.
A yellow warning has been issued for 11 districts for today, cautioning people about heat and humidity. Residents have been advised to take necessary precautions, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and stay hydrated as the discomfort level is expected to remain high.
