Bhubaneswar, April 2 -- In a major relief for travellers from Odisha, an internationalvisa application centre was inaugurated in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, eliminating the need to visit cities like Kolkata for visa-related services. The centre, operated by VFS Global, was launched by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The Chief Minister said the initiative underscores Odisha's growing global connectivity and reflects the government's focus on citizen-centric services. He noted that improved access to visa facilities will enhance ease of travel, boost tourism and industry, and strengthen international engagement.
