Bhubaneswar, April 13 -- The Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha's Puri is set to begin the counting and verification of ornaments stored in the inner Ratna Bhandar from Monday, marking a significant exercise after a gap of 48 years. The process, considered highly sensitive, will be carried out under strict security arrangements, with all preparations completed.
The framework for the exercise was finalised during a review meeting held at the temple office under the chairmanship of Chief Administrator Arabinda Padhee. Officials stated that the entire process will be conducted with utmost caution and in strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approved by the state government.
