Bhubaneswar, April 7 -- In a major push to enhance the safety, communication, and signalling infrastructure of its vast network, Indian Railways has approved projects worth Rs.1,364.45 crore. The approved works aim to strengthen train collision avoidance systems, communication backbones, and upgrade signalling systems across key railway zones. These projects are expected to increase operational efficiency and bolster safety measures, supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
