Bhubaneswar, Aug. 3 -- Indian Railways have announced major changes in train services in September due to Non-Interlocking (NI) work for commissioning a new double-line rail bridge over the Ganga near Mokama in Bihar.

According to The New Indian Express, the rail work, scheduled from September 21 to October 4, will affect 845 train services, including cancellations, diversions and partial terminations.

According to Saraswati Chandra, CPRO of the East Central Railway (ECR), 338 trains will remain cancelled, 384 trains will be diverted, 56 trains will be short-terminated, and 67 trains will be short-originated on different dates during the work period.
