Bhubaneswar, June 5 -- Indian-origin woman Varsha Gohil has been awarded around Rs 85 crore by a UK court after a divorce battle that lasted more than two decades. The case is being described as one of the longest-running divorce disputes in British legal history.

Varsha had filed for divorce from her husband, Bhadresh Gohil, in 2002, accusing him of adultery and unreasonable behaviour. While the couple reached a financial settlement in 2004, the dispute resurfaced after Varsha alleged that her former husband had failed to disclose the full extent of his assets and income during the proceedings.
