Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- A massive Indian Army recruitment rally began at Gopabandhu Stadium in Odisha's Paradip on Thursday. The rally drew thousands of aspirants determined to join the armed forces and serve the nation.

The ongoing selection process includes candidates from Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim. The rally is witnessing young aspirants undergoing tests to qualify for recruitment as Agniveers.

The Agniveer selection process for youths from 10 districts of coastal Odisha is scheduled to begin from Friday. Aspirants will compete for positions under the recruitment exercise.

The final three days of the rally will be dedicated to the recruitment process for clerical posts.
