Bhubaneswar, July 5 -- A school in Bankibahal village under Patnagarh in Odisha's Bolangir district got inundated following incessant rainfall. Knee-deep water was reported inside the school premises.

The school premises and surrounding areas witnessed waterlogging which disrupted normal life in the area.

Among the areas most affected by waterlogging in the region, Bankibahal school was the worst due to the continuous rainfall in Patnagarh. Knee-deep water was seen surging inside the school premises.

Despite the current situation, no efforts were reportedly made to drain out the accumulated water from the school premises.

Parents expressed concern over how classes will be conducted if the waterlogging continues.
