IMD issues severe heat warning for 5 Odisha districts until April 22
Bhubaneswar, April 18 -- Odisha is bracing for a severe weather pattern as the state witnesses an intense heatwave, with temperatures rising sharply in several regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued severe heatwave warning along with humidity for 5 Odisha districts which are Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bolangir, and Nuapada.
The heatwave conditions in these states are likely to last until 22nd April. The heat is expected to intensify, with humidity anticipated to begin from tomorrow.
