IMD issues red alert for 4 districts, orange warning for 9 as Odisha braces for multi-day heavy rain spell
Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- Odisha is set to witness an intense spell of monsoon rainfall over the next five days, with the weather office issuing Red and Orange warnings for several districts, cautioning against extremely heavy rainfall, flooding, landslides and disruption to normal life.
While light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely across almost all districts during the period, the most severe impact is expected over the southern, western and interior parts of the state during the first two days before shifting towards northern Odisha later in the forecast period.
