Bhubaneswar, June 14 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a five-day weather outlook indicating widespread rainfall activity accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty surface winds across Odisha from June 14 to June 18, 2026.

On Day 1 (valid till 0830 hrs IST of June 14), light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are very likely at most places across all districts of the state.

An Orange Warning has been issued for Kandhamal, Rayagada, and Gajapati, where thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds reaching 50-60 kmph, and heavy rainfall are likely at isolated locations, posing potential risks to property and crops.
