Bhubaneswar, April 25 -- A packaged drinking water plant operating without a valid licence was raided in Odisha's Balasore district on Friday. Authorities collected samples for quality testing following complaints of unsafe practices.

The Jaleswar Food Safety team carried out the raid at an illegal unit located in Kusadiha village under Basta police limits. The action was initiated after repeated complaints were received from local residents regarding the functioning of the unit.
