Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- An illegal liquor unit operating inside the Khanduali Reserve Forest under Khuntuni police limits in Odisha's Cuttack district was busted during a joint raid by Excise and Forest department officials on Saturday. Thousands of litres of country liquor and brewing materials were seized and destroyed during the operation.

The raid was carried out by the Athagarh Excise Department along with teams from Banki Excise Station, Narsinghpur Excise Department, the District Mobile Unit, Sadar Excise Station and the Khuntuni Forest Department.
