Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- Hundreds of students reportedly left their hostel and returned home after being frustrated over alleged poor arrangements and the failure to resolve basic issues for years. The concerning incident has come to light from Santemara Government High School under Jharigaon block of Odisha's Nabarangpur district.

According to reports, around 180 students were staying in the hostel. However, they alleged that they were deprived of basic facilities for years. Though the hostel existed in name, there was no separate building for accommodation. During rains, water reportedly leaked from the roof.
