Bhubaneswar, June 7 -- Power supply disruptions continued across several parts of Bhubaneswar on Sunday, hours after a Kalbaisakhi storm swept through the city. Local residents reported prolonged blackouts and low-voltage issues that affected access to water and other basic services.

Electricity was restored in some areas after outages lasting more than eight hours. However, many consumers said low voltage continued despite the restoration of power supply.

Among the worst-affected localities were Nayapalli, Jaydev Vihar, Acharya Vihar and Saheed Nagar. Residents said power cuts continued until late at night in several pockets of the city.
