Bhubaneswar, Sept. 10 -- A fresh temple theft was reported from Puri district, where miscreants allegedly broke open the lock of Rameshwari Temple in Kusupur village under Gop police station. The miscreants reportedly stole a silver crown of the presiding deity along with brass items worth lakhs of rupees.
The theft came to light when the temple priest arrived in the morning to perform the daily rituals. He found the temple lock broken and informed the police. Police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
