Bhubaneswar, May 11 -- A youth allegedly climbed a mobile tower and threatened to end his life while under the influence of alcohol in Odisha's Rayagada district on Monday. The incident triggered tense moments in the area before he was rescued safely by police and fire services personnel.

The incident was reported from Kalyansinghpur town in Rayagada district, where the youth remained atop the tower for some time as local residents gathered at the spot and appealed to him to come down.
