Bhubaneswar, April 18 -- Ever since the return of the iconic trio was announced, fans have been waiting to see Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya reunite on screen in Hera Pheri 3. However, the film has continued to run into one hurdle after another. From Paresh Rawal's unexpected exit from the project to legal disputes over the franchise rights, the road ahead has hardly been smooth.

The uncertainty around the film only increased after reports emerged of a copyright clash between a South-based producer and Firoz Nadiadwala over ownership of the franchise. These issues had already left fans disappointed, especially since Akshay Kumar had reportedly secured the rights to the film series.
