Bhubaneswar, Sept. 2 -- Rainfall activity is likely to ease slightly across Odisha on Wednesday, but there will be no complete respite as several parts of the state are expected to receive more showers. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of western Odisha, with Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Bargarh likely to be the worst affected.

According to the weather office, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the three western Odisha districts. Several areas of northern and coastal Odisha may also witness rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
