Bhubaneswar, Aug. 31 -- Odisha is likely to witness another three days of heavy rainfall as a low-pressure area continues to influence the weather over the state, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday.

Several districts have been facing heavy rain across the state for the past two days. The intensity of rainfall is expected to remain high, particularly in northern Odisha.

According to reports, a red warning has been issued for Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore, forecasting very heavy rainfall in these districts. An orange alert has also been issued for eight districts. Meanwhile, the remaining districts have been placed under a yellow alert.
