Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- Heavy rainfall under the influence of a deep depression has disrupted normal life in Koraput district of Odisha, affecting both urban and rural areas. Rain-related damage has been reported from several locations, with houses being damaged and electricity supply disrupted after trees fell.

Rainfall has continued across the district since Wednesday, with heavy to very heavy rain recorded in different areas. The persistent downpour has affected daily activities and created difficulties for residents in several parts of Koraput.
