Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4 -- India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued fresh warnings for the next two days as rainfall continues across Odisha. A heavy rainfall alert has been issued for seven districts, and a yellow warning for rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning remains intact for several other regions.

As per reports, Mayurbhanj district is expected to receive the heaviest rainfall on Tuesday. Meanwhile, rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected across Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri districts.
