Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- A disturbing incident of alleged corporal punishment surfaced on Thursday from Odisha's Ganjam district, where a headmaster was caught on camera allegedly assaulting students inside a classroom.

The incident took place at Shyam Sundar High School in Dengadi under Sanakhemundi block, raising serious concerns about student safety and discipline practices in schools.

According to local sources, the headmaster, Sanjaya Kumar Palo, allegedly lost his temper and began physically assaulting students present in the classroom.
