Bhubaneswar, March 22 -- The 24th National Para Athletics Championship concluded at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Saturday, with Haryana emerging as the overall champion. The closing ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who felicitated the participating athletes.
The championship witnessed participation from over 1,400 para-athletes representing 28 states. Haryana secured the top position with an impressive tally of 95 medals, while Tamil Nadu finished second with 51 medals. Athletes from Odisha also delivered a commendable performance, securing a total of 12 medals in the competition.
