Bhubaneswar, Oct. 13 -- Dr Haribabu Kambhampati's tenure as Odisha Governor focused on environmental sustainability, renewable energy and higher education reforms. His time in office also saw efforts to make Lok Bhavan more environmentally friendly.

Kambhampati served as Odisha Governor for one year and nine months. He took charge on January 3, 2025. Following a gubernatorial reshuffle announced by President Droupadi Murmu on October 12, 2026, he is set to be succeeded by Braj Mohan Ram.

During his tenure, Kambhampati introduced several initiatives to promote sustainability at Lok Bhavan. He also encouraged universities across Odisha to improve academic standards and infrastructure.
